Terms and Conditions

A signed request Form must be completed before any work is carried out

if sending job requirements through the postal/courier service. If work is to be collected (within a twenty mile radius of Somerton) the signed Request Form must be attached to all work.

Any completed work, which is to be returned by post, will be forwarded by Royal Mail Special Delivery (unless advised otherwise). These costs will be added to the invoice. For the collection/delivery service by car - this will be charged at 40 pence per mile.

An invoice will accompany the completed work and payment must be made within fourteen days of receipt.

* Secretarial Saviour reserves the right to charge interest on overdue invoices at the rate of 5% per month (also on any outstanding balances of partially paid invoices).

If a payment for an invoice is made by cheque and this is subsequently returned by the bank - all bank charges relating to the returned cheque are to be paid by the client and will be added on to the overdue invoice. *Will apply.

Secretarial Saviour will do its utmost to prevent any errors within the requested job specification received by clients. All errors will be rectified if found to be the result of Secretarial Saviour. Secretarial Saviour does not accept any responsibility for which the end product is used nor any errors within the said end product. It is the client's sole responsibility to check copyright laws within any job specification which is requested by the client for completion by Secretarial Saviour.

No liability for any ensuing action of the finished product is accepted by Secretarial Saviour - it is the sole responsibility of the client to ensure that all works are thoroughly checked by the client and any errors, on the part of Secretarial Saviour, are notified immediately for correction. Any additions or extra amendments will be charged at the hourly rate (or to the nearest 15 minutes, whichever applies).

No responsibility is accepted by Secretarial Saviour on any delays/losses involving late delivery to either party when work is forwarded by the mail/courier service.

All work printed on plain A4 white paper in plain text unless specific paper is supplied by the client. If colour text/charts/graphs are required these can be discussed.

Data Protection - all drafts etc., will be shredded. Sensitive material will be returned to the client on request or shredded.
Any documents held by Secretarial Saviour whilst completion of work is carried out will be stored under secure conditions. All files held on computer are password protected and any emails received with digital work attached will be deleted once typed and confirmation received that there are no amendments.

Completed work
to be returned by post will be
copied  and kept in secure conditions by Secretarial Saviour in case of amendments etc., for a period of three months - after this period all information will be deleted, unless requested otherwise.
